Blubandoo brand personal cooling products contain non-toxic polymer crystals. They hold water and evaporate is slowly to provide you with long lasting evaporative cooling heat relief.

What qualifies this a FASTandLIGHT product ? Well, it is ultralight, about an ounce and compact, fits in your pocket. When needed, it really carries its weight, providing hours of cooling relief.

This neck band is small you can keep it dry in your pocket until you need the cooling relief - dry it is the size of a small handkerchief. Dry measurements are - 4" X 1" x 1.5" (folded) .

To activate your Blubandoo - submerge in a bowl of water - or hold it under slow moving water - our favorite place is of course a clear running mountain stream, but a bowl of water works too. Hold it under for approximately five minutes. While submerging, you will feel the crystals within transform into a gel. Use your hands to evenly distribute the gel throughout the cooling channels. It is important to gently and evenly distribute the gel along the neckband. It expands quickly and may ooze thru the fabric if you don't massage it. If oozing occurs, simply wipe off the gel and wear as usual.

Continue soaking until your Blubandoo gel channel is hydrated to a flexible shape. Then, take it out of the water and blot it off the excess moisture. Allow the remainder of the moisture to air dry. No refrigeration is necessary.

Evaporative cooling works best with air movement. If you are walking or there is a light breeze they work great. If the air is still - take it off and wave it for a few seconds or rotate it on your neck to get cooling relief, or get near a fan - the air movement will provide the evaporative cooling effect. It is like having a portable air conditioner while you walk, hike, backpack, camp or just work around your home and garden.

BluBandoo's are hand washable and reusable time and again.

Tip: You can also use this for warming - to soothe aches and pains. Simply microwave a hydrated Blubandoo for 30 - 46 seconds. It will proivde warming relief for hours. If you are on the Trail - use the Solar Oven (sold in sidebar) - heat in a black pot for 5 - 10 minutes.

Do not leave in an enclosed area once hydrated. Let them get plenty of fresh air so they can breathe, evaporate, and dry out before storage. Soaked Neckbands may mold if stored in an enclosed area.

Keep away from salt water, alchohol, fuels and bleach. Not suitable for children, adult supervision advised. OSHA approved, non toxic, non hazardous when used as recommended.
