Room for two people; tent is 8 feet long. Tube opening is made of about 130" of material doubled back and sealed into a tube. When setup as an equilateral triangle, you get 130/3 = 43+ inches (about 3 and a half feet wide) of lateral floor space. Well over 20 square feet of usable shelter, even if the ends are dropped to shed rain.

Doubles as a ground sheet or tarp. Great coverage and a built in floor. Prop up the middle with a stick or trek pole and drop the ends down in storms and watch the water roll off.
