So handy you won't leave in in your camp gear box - you will use it for everday BBQs and tailgate parties. Plus the safe blunt edge makes it easy to skewer food, but not your fingers. It won't puncture the marinade bag, and tips stays cool when properly positioned off the grill - safety first. Replaces tongs - making your pack even lighter.
Comes in a 2 Pack and made of Stainless Steel so it won't rust.
The handle stays cool for hand turning or flip of your food. No extra tools, utensils, or tongs needed to turn like straight skewers. Easy clean up stainless steel. So handy you will use them in the backyard, at tailgates, as well as at camp.
Safer than working with sharp point straight skewers. Safe enough to let the kids help you prepare kabobs. The blunt end of the stainless steel skewer has enough edge to get through the food, but it is rounded so that it won't poke your fingers or go through your marinade zip lock bags. Safety first with the added benefit of No leaks !.
The flexible nature of the stainless cable permits more efficient placement of your food on the camp grill. You can position it in a circle on round grills or at any angle to maximize cooking around hot and cold spots.

We at goFASTandLIGHT, know that backpackers love tools that can do "double duty" - so they carry their weight through the whole trip. We like to use the firewire as an ultralight fish stringer to keep the days catch fresh, then use it to grill the fish for dinner!
