Notes for Customization: Custom area is on the bottom rows of each frame. It is best to limit your customization to a maximum of 24 characters and 2 lines. Each frame is constructed of warm rich Alder Wood. They are Engraved and Etched with decorative reminders of each trail. The photo frame is suitable for 5 X 7 photos, available in portrait or landscape orientation.
Overall external dimensions are 9.5" X 7.5" X 0.5" Each has a rich, natural, and outdoorsy look. Frames are ready to stand freely on a desk (integrated kickout stand) or hang from a nail on the wall.
Laser and Tool Etching crafting techniques are combined with shading and washing to bring out the beauty in the wood and customize it with your text.
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) frame shows representations of the Northern Terminus and Southern Terminus Monuments, as well as the gps coordinates of those monuments at the start and end. It also includes images of backpackers, bears, mountains and trees, as well as a graphic representation of the trail's 2650 miles. Across the top of the frame is a washed wood area with images of Yosemite domes. The washing process serves to simulate the color of Yosemite granite formations.
The Continental Divide Trail (CDT) frame depicts the CTD logo, bear, moose, and even a mountain goat, along with backpackers, trees and Rocky Mountain profiles.
The Appalachian Trail (AT) picture frame has the AT logo, bear, squirrel, and trees, trees, and more trees - appropriate since the AT is often called "The Long Green Tunnel". The bottom right contains a depiction of Clingmans Dome, which at 6643 ft is the highest point along the trail.
These are designed specifically for 5 x 7 photos. About 1/16" of the edges of a 5 x 7 will be covered by the frame, allowing the photograph to appear to flow into the wood frame.
