This is our most popular long billed cap. It offers 50+ UPF Sun protection, is lightweight, breathable and the microfiber material dries quickly. Extra long bill provide enhanced face protection. The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (or “UPF”) rating system measures the UV protection provided by fabric. It is very similar to the SPF rating system used for sunscreens. A garment with a UPF of 50 only allows 1/50th of the UV radiation falling on the surface of the garment to pass through it. In other words, it blocks 49/50ths or 98% of the UV radiation. Adjustable chin strap keeps cap in place during windy conditions. The neck shade can be zipped off and stored in a pocket when not needed. Weighs about 4 ounces. One size fits most people up to 7-3/4 hat size - adjustable to smaller sizes via locking string clip.
