Manual Siphon hose and pump |
|
PVC pump safely transfers most water liquids without wetting hands. Ideal for the car, home, or workshop. Includes 72" clear hose
Useful in your survival kit should you be forced to scavenge for water, gasoline, oil or other liquids.
For emergency survival water collection you can seek out seeps, rock depressions, tree stumps, desert tinajas (hollow areas in rocks and stumps that can hold water for weeks), and generally damp areas. Even if you can't reach down to the water - this siphon gives you the ability to retrieve life saving water.
Should you have to secure fuel by scavenging - the pump keeps your hands from becoming contaminated.
Never use for water after using for petroleum products. Best to buy multiple units and use permanent marker to identify which are for water and which will be used for oil and gas.
Instructions: Insert small end of hose into liquid, squeeze and release bulb until liquid flows. If you hold bulb end lower than liquid, you will not need to continue squeezing because siphon action will keep the flow going.
NOTE: If you are pumping gas, make sure the hose is pushed deep into the tank. Before you store the siphon pump ensure that all liquid is drained out of bulb and hose. Gasoline fumes are highly explosive, be sure that siphon and hose are completely dry before storage.
California Warning: Thsi product contains chemicals, including lead, know to the Sate of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
