Tip: One objection we hear to wearing a lanyard and neck knife is "If I get caught on something or by someone - I can get choked". One solution is to cut the lanyard and push both ends through a spring loaded Cord Lock Light (sold in sidebar at right). This provides secure retension, but will release the ends under pressure. Plus - you have a handy and compact source of light.
