Home cooked flavors in this instant meal with Long Grain Rice, seasonings and vegetables ( brocolli, peas, carrots, celery, tomatoes, onions and garlic) and a real Chicken flavor. On top of the great taste this dish is another of our Vegetarian meals. (but does not taste like it).
How can that be? The package says chicken. The realistic chicken taste and texture is made possible through the invention of
Wheatex, a textured wheat protein with a fibrous structure that mimics the look and texture of meat.
It come in a 4oz resealable Foil Package.
Just add one cup hot water, stir, close bag, wait 5 minutes and serve.

The package claims to have 2 servings. On strenous outings, we recommend using it as 1 serving. Typical caloric needs during backpacking are high, so a 260 calorie meal is minimal.
