The size and look of a pen but this contains 1/2 ounce of 15% strength Oleoresin Capsicum Pepper Spray for Self Defense. Spray contains a red dye so authorities can identify the attacker.
Dimensions: 5-1/2" Long, 3/8" Diameter (pen size). Fits in a woman's purse.
Weight: Less than 1.5 ounces.
Directions for Use: Uncap and Simply point the pen at the attackers face and depress the actuator button. The spray will discharge from the unit with an approximate range of 8 - 10 feet. To stop the spray release the button. It is recommended that you test fire to get the hang of it. The spray causes inflammation of the eye capillaries and other mucus membranes resulting in immediate temporary impairment of vision, coughing, choking and nausea with extreme discomfort. Symptoms will disappear within 30 to 40 minutes with no after effects.
Antidotes: Oleoresin Capsicum will cause not permanent damage of after effects when used properly. No medical attention should be necessary . Exposure for fresh air and water will reduce effects. Wash exposed skin area thoroughly with soap and water. Oleoresin Capsicum has not been shown to cause unusual effects on persons with medical histories of allergies, asthma, and high blood pressure.
