Portable USB AA and AAA battery charger. Plug into any USB port to charge a pair of AA or AAA rechargeable batteries. This package replaces 200 disposable Alkaline batteries. These batteries are 1.5 volt just like disposable alkaline batteries, not the lower 1.2 volt like most NiMh rechargeables.
Features:
• Charger is a dual cell, dual chemistry USB charger. It charges iGo Green rechargeable Alkaline cells & common NiMH rechargeable batteries
• Includes Quantity 2 Precharged AA 1.5 volt, 2000 mAh iGo Green rechargeable Alkaline (that's right - the first rechargeable Alkaline) batteries (manufactured by Ramcell)
• Each battery tray is marked + and - (positive and negative). Always insert batteries matching polarity. Plus to Plus and Negative to Negative.
• Charges AA & AAA cells in any combination. 2 - AA, 1-AA & 1 - AAA, 2 AAA. (automatic, built in, spring loaded adapter adjusts to fit BOTH size batteries)
• Input is DC 5V from USB, Output is 1.6V 190mA x 2 (AA or AAA) . This assures that the iGo batteries will get their 1.5V charge (vs 1.2V for most NiMh).
• Charges via any standard USB port
• iGo Alkaline rechargeable batteries will hold charge for up to 7 years
• iGo batteries are the only NON TOXIC rechargeable batteries
• 3 ounces including batteries
Note: Do not attempt to charge "non rechargeable batteries" Use only iGo rechargeables or NiMh rechargeable batteries. Attempts to charge other types of batteries that may burst causing personal injury and damage. Use in dry locations only. Read instruction manual before each use.
