We like the MESH concept for daypacks - makes for a lightweight yet functional package. You can SEE all the items in your pack. That makes it fast and easy to find that camera when you want to get a quick nature shot. Or that rain poncho for the sudden downpour. Or the flashlight when darkness falls.
We also find that it is easier to get through security lines at airports, concerts and such since they can see what is inside.
* Weight (empty) - About 215 grams or 9 ounces.
* Main chamber is 15" x 12" x 3.5" = 630 cubic inches
* Rear Zippered Outer chamber is about 8" x 10" x 1" = 80 cubic inches.
*Weight capacity -- While obviously not designed to carry bricks, this pack rides very comfortably with up to 8 or 9 pounds of things like extra clothes, towels, cameras, binoculars, snacks, etc .
* Padded shoulder straps with adjustable cinch straps
* Main Chamber zips about 270 degrees around the pack so you can open it up like a clamshell. Double Zippers on main chamber
* Reinforced stiches and fabric wherever a strap contacts the Mesh Fabric to ensure long life and durability
