Reflective Orange Trail Marking Tape for Night Use |
|
Brand New Technology in trail marking tape. This dual Day and Night visibility flagging tape is striped with orange and silver. By day - you get the high visibility orange and sunlight flashes off the reflective ink. By night - the specially formulated reflective silver ink enhances visibility. When a beam of light is directed at the silver stripes, light bounces back towards the source for enhanced night time visibility. Find camp or the trail home even if it gets dark.
During night testing we found very small lights like our
UK9005 got very good reflective feedback out to about 50 feet with this tape. More powerful lights like our
FENIX would could locate the tapes
reflective ink at up to 100 feet in total darkness.
Thin and light, even the most gentle breeze with cause it to move, flutter and change angles, increasing the chances of a good reflection.
Getting lost is never desirable. Getting lost at night is downright dangerous. Use this to temporarily mark your campsite or trails, works great day or night. Great for keeping kids out of certain areas (poison ivy or oak). Some campers even use a length to play games - stretch it between a couple trees - limbo anyone? How low can you go?
Use to marking favorite hiking trails, fishing spots, campsites, shortcuts, trails thorugh thick brush, or use to create 'high visibility" breadcrumbs for backtracking should you go bushwhacking off trail.
Longer sections can even be stretched across a trail as a barrier should unsafe trail conditions exist ahead. Use a pen to write messages on it to inform other hikers.
Keep some in your automobile. Can be used to mark hazards or create a line of reflective warning markers should an accident occur.
1-3/6 wide strip on a 150 foot roll.
Tip - Only one side is reflective. When positioning your marks, give the tape a few twists to present the reflective ink and multiple angles.
