Ribz are light weight, adjustable, and are available in sizes to fit everyone. Can be used alone or combined with a backpack to shift load forward around your ribs. Constructed for easy access, better weight distribution, mobility and improved posture. Two Sizes - a 500 cubic inch model (called Small but that is still alot of capacity) and a whopping 700+ cubic inch capacity called the Large size. . Empty weight for the Large 11.4 ounces. Shipping weight is 17 ounces including stuff sack and retail packaging. (Small is about 9.5 ounces). The Ribz front pack is made of Cordura Brand 210 Denier waterproof ripstop nylon. The Ribz front pack is truly ultra light. All components are water resistant and have proven durability in the most extreme of conditions. Typically, you can comfortably carry up to 10 pounds in the front packs. The strength of Cordura starts with the threads. Each thread consists of 34 individual Nylon filiments woven into a super strong thread to INVISTAs world class standards. Zipper pulls are installed on all pocket zippers for easy open. The front zipper is compatible with zipper pull add ons (like those sold in the sidebar) for enhanced function. All chambers are accessible on the go which makes Ribz the ideal choice for cameras, binoculars. misc. gear, sun and bug products, fishing tackle, snacks, baby bag, and more. Ribz up front gear access is easier and faster, and still permits you to carry a backpack. Fit Notes: The Ribz are fully adjustable via a 1 inch wide backstrap and shoulder straps left and right. Optimal fit for the SMALL size if for waist sizes from 27 to 33 inches. The LARGE size works best on waist sizes 33 inches and up. The Large version has a maxiumum 44 waist. Due to variations in body type and chest sizes, if you are near the maximum, contact us for options. The use of a front pack repositions a portion of your weight forward which reduces your overall shoulder stress and increases comfort, mobility and balance. A front pack in combination with a backpack moves your center of gravity forward and lower and creates the feeling of carrying a lighter overall load. Though the Ribz front pack was designed with ultralight backpacking intentions, any outdoor activity where easy access to equipment is critical - makes these shine! Ribz front pack can be used alone as a vest but is primarily designed to work with your existing backpack to increase functionality. The Ribz front pack was designed with many sports and activities in mind. Upon receipt of your RIBZ - adjust the shoulder straps so they fit high above the waist line and low enough to fit comfortable under your arms. Best when fitted right around your rib cage. It is also a good idea to load your pack with the items for your activity, and readjust to your personal desired fit. Ribz can be adjusted to fit snug for high intensity activities or loosely for casual. For the serious backpacking enthusiast, try moving a few pounds out of your backpack and into your ribz for better weight distribution and comfort. Ribz company guarantees all products to be free from any defects in material or craftsmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. During the two year warranty period, Ribz will either repair or replace, at its option, only the defective part of the pack. Ribz will not repair or replace any pack that has been torn as a result of accidents or misuse. |
