SOGFari Machete with Sawblade |

SOG machetes are exciting additions to the SOG family. This SOGfari model is especially useful with the integrated sawblade on top.
Machetes are one of the more useful edged tools in the world. They have cleared brush, and blazed trails, have chopped wood, made shelters, harvested crops, prepared meals, hunted and protected.
Careful attention has been given to the SOGfari to make sure that the weight was right and the handles were comfortable for extended use. Added bonus - they've added a real working saw on the back of the blades with teeth that cut deep. Also - Extended out of the back of the handle is a spiked tang for pounding and scraping. There are even holes in the handle to mount lanyards or lash to a pole to fashion a spear.

Hardness Rating: HRC 52-53 (Very High quality knives will be HRC 55-60, the machete blade is slightly less hard to facilitate easy resharpening)
Handle Material: Kraton with digital texture grip buttons. (Kraton polymers is a synthetic material with many of the features of natural rubber, such as flexibility, high traction, and sealing abilities. Kraton has better resistance to heat, weathering, and chemicals than natural rubber.)
