Shakespeare Telescopic Fishing Pack Rod. Choose from TM46SPT (4' 6" extended) or TM66SPT (6' 6" extended) models. Add your favorite spinning reel and you are ready to fish. Collapses down to for easy storage. 6' 6" rod to about 15.5" and the 4' 6" model to about 13.5".
The 4' 6" is classified as Ultralight action and pairs perfectly with the Okuma UL10 reel, South Bend Microlite S Class (both with 2" long base and sold in the sidebar ) and 2 or 4 lb test line - perfect for backpacking and the trout you will encounter in the mountains.
The 6' 6" offers light to medium action (6lb - 10lb test line) in a longer telescopic spinning rod. Works well with the Daiwa XD40 (2.5" base) or any medium action spinning reel. Good features, and size for a backpacking fishing rod.

4' 6" rod is 5 piece telescopic, while 6' 6" is a 7 piece telescopic rod.
Twist-lock reel seat ensures your reel will stay locked to the pole.
