Smart Suds Biodegradable Unscented Camp Soap |

McNett Smart Suds was the first camper’s all-purpose soap to receive the US EPA’s “Design for the Environment” recognition. Smart Suds Biodegradable camp soap is designed to gently cleans everything in camp, including dishes, hands and gear and then to rapidly biodegrade through normal soil microbe action. Smart Suds is scent free - no perfumes - to avoid attracting insects or animals.
Some reports estimate that detergents account for between 20 and 60 per cent of the phospherous build-up in waterways and may be a major cause algae blooms in streams and lakes.
The Best Practice is to wash yourself, clothes and dishes AWAY from streams. Discard dirty water on soil a distance from a lake or stream. This permits the microbes in the soil to properly break down Smart Suds and any food particles in the waste water.
Choose from 2 Sizes - 1.25 fluid ounces (lightweight, convenience size, flat bottle) or 3 fluid ounces (max allowable for carry on airline bagage) .
The very gentle unscented cleaner surrounds dirt particles so they can be carried off in rinse water. Smart Suds also kills and removes germs.
The formula is very concentrated, requiring only a small amount for each wash. This lightens the camper’s or backpackers pack load and eliminates excess packaging.
