Make no mistake - this is the real MicroTouch Technology that provides superior cleaning properties compared to most other microfiber cloths found on the market today.
The MicroTouch Technology has been designed to lift oil and debris without smearing them around. This is achieved in the cloth manufacturing process. The double-brushed microfibers provide additional cleaning properties because more fibers are exposed on the cloth face.
Microfiber in general, is an amazing technology. It is used in many applications. It is particularly well suited for cleaning because of its "magnetic" attraction to dirt and dust. Microfiber products are extremely soft so they won’t scratch sensitive surfaces.
The secret behind the microfiber technology is that the fibers are split in such a way as to create minute crevices. These small gaps attract and hold dust, dirt and moisture. The fibers are 11 times thinner than a human hair. A typical microfiber cloth can absorb up to 7 times its own weight in water.
In recent years, an important development has been made in microfiber technology. It is the ability to extrude ultra fine filaments while still maintaining all the strength expected by customers (see Additional Photos above for more)
To care for your microfiber, wash in warm water with a mild detergent and rinse well. It can be cleaned in a household washer and dryer. DO NOT, however, use bleach or fabric softeners. Fabric softeners can clog the fibers making the cloth less effective. Also you should NOT iron microfiber fabric; it will flatten the fine fibers that stick up off the surface to help you clean
