These Ni-MH rechargeable batteries work with our AAA capable solar chargers to provide you a reusable source of power when you are out and about. They are memory free so can be recharged at will - no need to completely discharge. Each AAA battery weighs about 12 grams. At 800 mAH capacity they will power your flashlights, PDAs, or MP3 players for hours. When they run out - simply recharge them. These are good for 100's of recharge and discharge cycles. They save you money and are better for the environment. After a long, useful life, it is good to know that Ni-MH batteries contain no Cadmium so can be disposed of in the household trash.
