The Poop Deck - Hikers Companion Playing Cards |
|
Some call it the Poop Deck. We call it the Hikers Companion Playing Card Deck.
Each contains detailed information about common North American Animals. Reference information on face of cards breaks down each animal by footprint (tracks), scat type (yes poop), gait (stride of tracks), and black and white profile illustration. Each also has a discussion of habitat, behavior, and size of each animal.
Entire deck is also marked with standard playing card symbols ( 2-10, Jack, King, Queen, and suits ) so they can be used to play poker or any standard card game.
Deck is holepunched in lower left of each card and comes with a handy caribiner holder for retention of cards. Hang the cards from a belt loop or pack for quick acess on the trail, and ready identification of animals you encounter.
Excellent trail reference and learning tool for kids or adults.
