A replication of the MIL-SPEC Paracord - This Super Strong, yet lightweight and tough Nylon Para cord has 550lb Test breaking strength and comes in Olive Drab color in a 100 foot Length. Very handy for camp, backpack, household and survival use.

Paracord was popularized in WW II when used for parachutes. It is a Kernmantle rope - a rope constructed with multiple interior core fibers protected with a woven exterior sheath (mantle) designed to optimize strength, durability, and flexibility in a lightweight package.
It can be used in almost any situation where light cordage is needed.
Use it to attach equipment to backpacks, secure tarps, tie packs to car or bus luggage racks, tent lines, clothes lines, lash a knife to branch to fashion a spear, bundle wood for transport, and so forth.
In emergencies the strong yarns of the core can be remove when fine string is needed, such as sewing thread to repair gear or fishing line in a survival situation.
The threads can also be piled and used as emergency fire starting tinder.
Tip: When cut into shorter lengths - melt the ends with a flame to reduce fraying.
