This Kit Coverts your Texsport Model 14095 Trek Pole into a Camera Monopod. With the help of a drill, it also works well with wood treking poles, wooden staffs, and wooden walking sticks. To install on the Texsport Treking Poles the kit requires a simple crescent wrench and Phillips screwdriver to install in minutes. We cannot guarantee it will work with others, though you are welcome to try.
Use this kit to get steady photographs as if you were using a tripod. After conversion the trek pole still functions as a normal walking stick.
Since the Tex Sport treking pole extends from 24" to 54" it can be used in a variety of situations - on a picnic table , fence, rock or open ground to get steady shots.
For interesting angles - try this - put your still or video camera in automatic timer multi-shot or movie mode, push the button and raise the extended trek pole above your head - it is easy to get shots from as high as 12 feet above the ground. Great for shots over crowds, fences, rooftops, into bird nests, around corners - use your imagination.
Use the hand strap to interlock with your camera strap for added protection against drops.
