Ultralight Fuzzy Footie Camp Shoes. These are lightweight (3.6oz SMALL, 4.4 oz LARGE) fuzzy warm slippers for use as camp shoes. Imagine backpacking in, setting up camp, then taking off the heavy sweaty boots, and putting on these soft lightweight, comfy slippers. One of the best solutions we have found these are soft, comfortable, lightweight, soothing and warm. These are easily packed into a pocket or corner of your backpack. Also great for air or bus travel - first class comfort even in coach. You'll be a happy camper on the airplane or in your hotel room.
We like these in camp, it is nice to take off the boots and put these on at the end of the day. They are perfect for light use in the tent, campsite, fireside or for quick trips to the latrine at night.
These are not waterproof enough or tough enough to replace your regular hiking boots, but at the end of the day - they are a welcome luxury for light " around base camp " trips. If you are looking for a tougher shoe for river crossings or scrambling across rocks, take a look at the Zinetics sold in the sidebar at right. Those can be used for stream crossings or emergency shoe replacement.
