Wordens Roostertail Rainbow Model 208 Fishing Lure |

Since the 1950's Worden's Rooster Tail has been and still is one of the most productive spinners available. Use this spinning lure it to catch just about any gamefish in a variety of conditions, stream, pond, or river. The Rooster Tail's featherlike tail and flashing rotating spoon spinning action will make fish strike, many times when nothing else will work. This model is Rainbow to present a variety of colors. When you are traveling light you can only take a few, this is a must have lure.
For Lake sping casting and trolling - cast out and let your Rooster Tail settle near the bottom. Give a quick flick / jerk of your rod tip to get the blade spinning and then retrieve slowly. Vary the pattern and speed of your retrieve. Twitch your rod tip slightly and try a stop and go technique. If line twist is a problem use a barrel swivel (like those sold in sidebar) tied about 14 inches ahead of the lure.
This model 208 1/8 oz. lure is ideal for trout, bluegill, crappie, grayling, kokanee, perch, base, and walleye.
